The absorption of iron in the body depends on several factors, including intake of certain nutrients. This mineral is responsible for supplying all organs and tissues with oxygen.

Citrus fruits are rich in vitamin C. One orange provides you with 70 milligrams of vitamin C, while ¾ of a cup of orange juice provides 93 milligrams of vitamin C.

Foods like muesli, eggs and some meats are rich in iron and consume in the morning for breakfast. Your breakfast would be perfect if any of these products you eat combined with fresh orange juice.

One of the biggest sources of vitamin C is red pepper. One red pepper contains 95 milligrams of vitamin C.     

                                                 
 Other vegetables that are rich in vitamin C are tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, green peppers, cabbage, rutabaga, potatoes and Brussels sprouts. These foods can add as a garnish combined with meat containing iron.


Other fruits that are rich in vitamin C are strawberries and kiwi.

 Half a cup of sliced strawberries contains 49 milligrams of vitamin C.
